Practicum Placements
The Psychology Clinic is dedicated to providing quality, low-cost psychological services to UBC Okanagan faculty, staff, and students, as well as the broader Kelowna community, while also providing high-quality training opportunities for our graduate students.
The clinical practicum sequence is designed to develop a broad range of clinical skills and competencies for use in professional settings that are graded in both depth and complexity across time. All students begin with clinically-related course-work, then proceed to gain their first clinical experience in our in-house assessment and treatment clinic under the intensive and supportive supervision of the Director of Clinical Training.
