Biography

Dr. Beuerlein holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of British Columbia, Okanagan. She completed her pre-doctoral residency with Horizon Health Network (New Brunswick), where she provided psychological services across diverse settings, including rotations in neuropsychology and rehabilitation, adult inpatient psychiatry, and community-based mental health services for children and youth.

She is currently a registered clinical psychologist (CHPBC #2946) practicing on the adult inpatient psychiatric unit (McNair Unit) at Kelowna General Hospital. In this role, she provides psychological assessment and evidence-based intervention for adults experiencing acute mental health concerns.

Dr. Beuerlein has received multiple distinctions, including research funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) and the national IODE War Memorial Doctoral Scholarship.
